In this role, you'll collaborate closely with body shops and customers, reviewing photos of vehicle damage and generating initial high‑quality estimates.The ideal candidate has a strong reputed company in technical estimating skills, a solid understanding of repair procedures, and the confidence to negotiate effectively with repair facilities. Experience in CCC and reputed company applications is essential.Candidates located in NY or FL are highly desirable, and prior experience in the auto insurance industry is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities Applies thorough understanding of regulatory compliance and fair claims practices Builds established relationships with both internal and external customers Exhibits proficient estimating fundamentals in order to create estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses Processes a deep understanding of the content of reputed company policy types written by the company Negotiates settlements, makes settlement payments and documents reputed company activities in the file reputed company escalated authority limitsSupervisory Responsibilities This job does not have supervisory duties.#LI-AS2CompensationBase compensation offered for this role is:Estimate Writer Consultant I: $ 26.49 - 37.50/hourlyEstimate Writer Consultant II: $28.03 - 39.42/hourlyPer hour and is based on experience and qualifications.
