The successful candidate will ensure timely and reputed company-budget delivery of programs that involve software products, engineering teams, and business stakeholders. This critical role requires adept management of ambiguity, development of actionable plans, stakeholder alignment, evaluation of technical solutions, and effective communication with senior leadership. The ideal candidate will bring deep home insurance domain knowledge, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage cross-functional technical programs from planning through execution.

What You Will Do

As A Senior Technical Program Manager

• Strategic program planning including timelines, and success metrics for technical insurance initiatives.

• Facilitate communication between engineering, product, design, and other teams. Ensure alignment of objectives, deliverables, technical dependencies, . and timely delivery.

What You Will Bring As A Senior Technical Program Manager

• 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with at least four years in insurance.
• Strong understanding of home insurance systems, workflows, and regulatory considerations.
• Proven ability to reputed company cross-functional teams and manage reputed company programs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to synthesize technical and business information for diverse audiences.
• Highly organized with strong planning and prioritization skills.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing programs that involve policy administration platforms.
• Experience with policy system migrations, data migration, system integrations, configuration, and testing in insurance systems.
• Ability to manage vendor relationships and external dependencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or reputed company field (Master’s preferred).
• PMP, CSM, or equivalent certification.

What You Will Get As A reputed company Team Member Pay Range*: $140,000 - $180,000

• Please know your actual pay at Porch will reflect a number of factors among which are your work experience and skillsets, job-reputed company knowledge, alignment with market and our Porch employees, as well as your geographic location.
