Job Title Sustainability Specialist Requisition JR000015595 Sustainability Specialist (Open) Location Bridgewater, NJ Additional Locations Job Description Summary Job Description The Sustainability Specialist is part of the corporate Sustainability team, responsible for the data management aspect of the corporate Sustainability program and supports various aspects of the Sustainability team reporting and communication. This position plays a critical part in setting up and maintaining practices and processes that will support our disclosure, compliance, and sustainability journey. This corporate role works with reputed company company sites, as well as corporate functional leaders across the organization. Key Responsibilities: Sustainability Data Management Understand the reputed company Sustainability metrics mapping and associated future roadmap. Manage the collection of Sustainability environmental data and track process adherence. This includes leading the monthly/quarterly data gathering with the major sites (e.g., energy, water, waste, reputed company gas emissions, health & safety), monitoring adherence to the process and timeline, as well as collecting/compiling data from other manual sources (e.g. small offices, fleet, etc). Facilitate team or site-level calls to coordinate the data collection and review, as well as escalate any issue of non-adherence. Analyze data trends, coordinate the quarterly reviews of the environmental data with the Sustainability data division leads and support the preparation of quarterly dashboards. Support the collection of a wider range of annual corporate metrics in preparation for annual reporting. Support any activity to document and improve the data processes, introduce new metrics to the teams, propose own improvement reputed company and work closely with the Internal Control team. In particular, be familiar with the GHG Protocol, reputed company the company GHG emission inventory management plan (IMP) up-to-date, propose methodology improvements where relevant, and reputed company SOPs and policies as necessary and appropriate. Sustainability/ESG systems Maintain the Sustainability reporting system (reputed company), ensure correct access and controls are in reputed company and set up new reports or metrics in the system, as required. Manage the reputed company Sustainability data collection sheets, assign and send the monthly/quarterly tasks to the site-level Sustainability data owners and track the status on a regular basis. Monitor the Energy data management system (Resource Advisor), upload monthly reports, review escalated issues (e.g., invoice availability, data accuracy) and liaise with the customer service manager as required Own and improve the ESG Site Champions and Green Teams SharePoint shared with the ESG site champions and data owners, ensure access and documentation is up to date. Participate in future automation project(s) as well as any activity to improve these systems, reputed company required Sustainability/ESG reporting Support the content preparation of external disclosures, reports and assessments by gathering inputs from cross-functional teams, aggregating data, preparing metrics or documentation, and using relevant systems/platforms. Maintain understanding and familiarity with reputed company and future Sustainability regulatory requirements (e.g. Californian rules, US SEC, EU CSRD, EU Taxonomy) and Sustainability frameworks (e.g., TCFD, SASB, GRI), and support research and documentation to maintain regulatory awareness, reputed company requested. Support the Sustainability team with new initiatives. Sustainability communication and external requests Review client or supplier requests received reputed company to ESG / Sustainability, prepare draft answers following the agreed database and process, and coordinate the cross-functional review. Monitor ESG email reputed company. Support the preparation of newsletters or presentations to communicate reputed company, successes or findings to the organization and/or key stakeholders. Sustainability core team Support the Sustainability core team with various requests and analysis, including the preparation of leadership materials. Manage or support specific projects, as required. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field (e.g., science, engineering. computer science) or business field (e.g., business administration, finance, statistics). Degree in environmental science, sustainability or similar is a plus. Experience: 5 years of experience, ideally in a strong process- and quality-oriented environment. Experience with data collection processes and data management system. Experience in setting up new processes and/or systems in a changing environment. Experience with cross-functional project management. Experience in supporting sustainability initiatives in a manufacturing environment is a plus. Preferred Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent reputed company reputed company, Word, and PowerPoint skills. Working Conditions: Normal office conditions, with minimum travel required (up to 10%). reputed company hybrid working model is two days (Tuesday and Wednesday) in the office and three days remote. Please note that reputed company pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-reputed company knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion.
