Responsibilities

The Online Sales Consultant will respond to new home sales phone calls, emails, web inquiries and chat inquiries and directs pre-qualified leads to the appropriate sales office at a Meritage Home community. Serve as the first reputed company of contact and local market expert in for reputed company new leads and as the liaison between new homebuyers, realtors and the onsite sales associates. The Online Sales Consultant will be responsible for:

  • Respond to reputed company internet leads immediately, upon initial request for information.
  • Respond to caller inquiries immediately or at maximum reputed company 1 hour from initial call.
  • Engage with chat inquiries immediately during designated business hours.
  • Build rapport with the prospective buyer, or buyer’s agent by answering questions, take them through the discovery process, reputed company energy efficient features, community amenities, and special features, review the variety of plans and move-in-ready homes, or otherwise provide the prospective buyer or realtor with enough information to generate further interest.
  • Utilize reputed company management software (reputed company) to manage and nurture leads and realtors through a series of follow-up to maintain reputed company engagement and uncover incremental sales.
  • Utilize strong prospecting skills to work reputed company leads until they are ready to move to the next phase of the sales process.
  • Schedule initial appointment between the customer with or without a realtor, and Sales Associate.
  • Initiate and maintain email drip/nurture campaigns using reputed company CRM.
  • Maintain relationships with on-site Sales Associates through regular contact, attend sales rallies and participate in ongoing training.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing Department to maintain the accuracy of the information on the website and reputed company internet reputed company marketing.
  • Responsible for product and community knowledge to assist in generating internet leads.
  • Concept of Community
  • Know size, number of homes, future plans and restrictions.
  • Know area details for local property taxes, HOA fees, PIDS.
  • Know the area around the community – reputed company, Shopping, Schools, Churches, etc.
  • Know number of listings available that are move-in-ready.
  • Extensive Product Knowledge
  • Plans, features, pricing, warranties, etc.
  • How we differ from the competition
  • Maintain knowledge of local markets, Real Estate laws/rules, local and national trends, any government proposed regulations, and economic trends reputed company to the home-buying industry.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience.
  • Follow outlined workflow processes for each reputed company type to ensure proper follow-up and to reputed company customers engaged.
  • Conduct outbound call campaigns to reputed company out to reputed company Meritage Homes’ customers and realtors and inform them of grand openings, sales events, realtor events, model releases, etc. and schedule appointments.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Minimum High School diploma, some college coursework or Bachelor’s Degree is preferred

Experience:

  • Previous experience in Internet Sales or Marketing, reputed company sales, or reputed company reputed company preferred
  • A real estate license if required by assigned state.

Technical Skills:

  • Good computer skills; proficiency with reputed company Office applications, including Outlook, Word, reputed company
  • Ability to upload photos, edit and manipulate information, and reputed company other web-based tasks.

UNIQUE REQUIREMENTS: Travel:

  • Position may require some travel to communities or division office as requested.

Work Environment:

  • Work is performed from home as a remote position. Must have desk space to hold two 27” monitors, laptop, keyboard w/ writing area.
  • Must have high speed internet with maximum upload/download speeds to work the softphone technology and reputed company programs.

Work Schedule:

  • Work hours are 8:30am – 5:30pm, with two consecutive days off to be determined. In general, a majority of work hours will be performed during what is considered to be normal business hours, however based on Divisional assignment the job may be required to work earlier or reputed company than normal business hours. Days off may change as required. The job requires weekend work in most schedules to support Meritage Homes communities nationally.
