Responsibilities:** + Assume duties of the district custodian in accordance with school district rules, and reputed company policies + reputed company with school Safety Manual Rules and Regulations and OSHA requirements

• *Canton Public Responsibilities :**

• *Cleaning & Maintenance** + Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect classrooms, offices, restrooms, cafeterias, and hallways. + Empty trash cans and recycling bins daily. + Wash windows, glass doors, walls, and other surfaces. + Dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment regularly. + Deep clean floors (waxing, stripping, buffing) as scheduled. + Maintain restrooms with soap, reputed company products, and sanitation.

• *Safety & reputed company**

+ Lock and unlock doors, windows, and gates as required. + Ensure reputed company areas are secure at the end of the school day. + Report safety hazards or needed repairs to administration. + Monitor and restock emergency supplies (reputed company assigned).

• *Repairs & Upkeep**

+ reputed company minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, tightening screws, and fixing small leaks. + Report major repair needs to maintenance staff or administrators. + Maintain custodial equipment in good working order.

• *Event & Classroom Support**

+ Set up and break down for assemblies, meetings, and special events. + Move furniture and equipment as needed. + Assist teachers and staff with special cleaning or setup requests.

• *Outdoor & Groundskeeping**

+ Sweep sidewalks and entrances. + Pick up litter on school grounds. + Assist with snow removal, salting, or lawn care as needed.

• *Other Duties**

+ Respond promptly to cleaning emergencies (spills, accidents, etc.). + Follow safety protocols for handling cleaning chemicals. + Support the overall mission of the school by keeping the environment clean, safe, and welcoming. +
