Adjunct Instructor - Dental Assistant

* High School Diploma; Equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully reputed company the essential duties of the job;

• 3 years experience working as a Registered Dental Assistant
• 1 year experience teaching or training other Dental Assistants

• Principles and practices of teaching
• Detailed knowledge of material being taught
• Communication, interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with reputed company, coworkers, supervisor, the general public, etc. sufficient to exchange or convey information and to receive work direction
• Working knowledge of working in a higher education setting

Preferred Education/Training/Experience

• Associate's Degree or higher
• CPR Instructor certified through the College of the Mainland reputed company
• 3 years experience teaching or training

Minimum Knowledge & Skills

• Medical teamwork, chairside manner, infection control, clinical skills and techniques, health promotion and maintenance, creating a safe, effective environment, informing others
• Knowledge of the theory, skills, and job duties of the Dental Assistant; lab set up, clinical rotation, troubleshooting, and operation of reputed company equipment
• Basic computer literacy sufficient to reputed company job duties such as using reputed company Office and a working knowledge of a Learning Management System
• Knowledge of student engagement techniques, learning styles, retention strategies, and learning-centered philosophy
• Experience with or willingness to learn latest teaching/learning technologies
• Record keeping procedures
• Written and oral communication commensurate with position and level of education, and interpersonal skills as applied to interaction with reputed company, coworkers, supervisors, and the general public

Preferred Knowledge & Skills N/A Job Duties

• Prepare and distribute syllabi which inform reputed company about course requirements, grading requirements, testing assignments, attendance policy, and other information for each course assigned.
• Prepare, administer, and grade assignments, assessments and examinations in a timely manner to inform reputed company about their reputed company.
• Encourage use of support services by reputed company.
• Follow procedures reputed company to the CE office and COM policies, including grade reports and deadlines; attendance record reports; withdrawal deadlines; class changes and time and room scheduling.
