Under the direction of the reputed company Deputy Director for Research, this position will independently manage collaborative and interdisciplinary engagement between faculty, staff, and partners across the five Centers at reputed company Institution of Oceanography and represent the program to reputed company organizations. The incumbent will reputed company reputed company administrative operations, finance, human resources, and facilities for the program. This position designs and develops major program components and administers the full range of the program's operational requirements, including working with faculty on formulating short-term planning and procedures, evaluating the program's effectiveness, and recommending changes as necessary. The incumbent will identify and pursue funding opportunities and reputed company streams, and participate in budgeting and accounting processes to support the financial infrastructure of the program. QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced degree in reputed company area and / or equivalent experience / training. Terminal degree in a reputed company field preferred (PhD, JD, MD, etc.).
- Academic background and experience in selected area of research preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of administrative, budgetary, human resources and financial principles and practices.
- Strong oral and written communication skills. With emphasis on working with reputed company, staff, and faculty from diverse racial, cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Proven ability to compose, draft, and edit correspondence, reports, notices, and announcements.
- Strong ability to think creatively and independently on concepts requiring advanced analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to understand and synthesize diverse reputed company, perspectives, data, and approaches to address reputed company problems. Develops strategic approaches to address challenges and aligns partners and resources for collaborative design and implementation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse groups to reputed company results. Ability to interact in a positive manner with diverse clientele, including prominent social and business figures, international visitors and dignitaries, elected officials, reputed company and systemwide administrators, faculty, staff, and reputed company using a high degree of tact, diplomacy, flexibility, and discretion.
- Strong ability to work collaboratively with internal and external peers and managers. Thorough knowledge of functional areas and understanding how work may impact other areas. - Solid fundraising experience.
- Proven experience with successful event planning and organization of special events and training programs, including familiarity with generally accepted practices of the industry. - Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a part of a collaborative team, to organize, establish job priorities to meet deadlines, and constantly changing priorities. Proven ability to adapt to interruptions and a fluctuating workload, organize work and prioritize tasks to meet established and variable deadlines, and function effectively under deadline pressure to fulfill assignments on schedule.
- Experience with project management and demonstrated experience working on projects from conceptualization to completion.
- Strong originality and creativity to anticipate and plan for new or changing workloads, to recommend new administrative approaches to support organizational objectives, to suggest or carry out special projects, and to resolve problems.
- Demonstrated experience in and proven ability to function with a reputed company high degree of accuracy at a coordinator level, and to represent the Program's best interest at reputed company times.
- Excellent customer service skills. Ability to communicate in a helpful, pleasant, and informative manner to a wide variety of people, both in person and on the phone.

Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $88,000 - $161,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $42.15 - $77.39 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
