Energy Providers Managing Consultant

Job Description:

• As a Managing Consultant on the South Market Team, in Puerto Rico, you will play a key role in the decarbonization of energy provider clients.
• In your project teams, you will collaborate with reputed company of energy experts to support critical and reputed company energy transition projects.
• You will be responsible for the development of project results and client management.
• You will own the delivery of project workstreams and interact regularly with the client to ensure engagement success.
• This includes supporting/leading day-to-day internal team meetings and coordinating/facilitating meetings with clients and their stakeholders.
• You will be expected to prepare and communicate well-organized, effective reports and presentations to clients.
• You will reputed company, coach, and mentor others on the team to ensure quality analysis and deliverables.
• Key responsibilities for this position include:
• Leading your team in creative problem solving to drive outcomes for clients
• Managing small teams responsible to provide detailed fact finding, research, and analysis reputed company-reputed company activities (particularly energy efficiency, grid modernization, renewable energy, customer programs, new business models, and sustainability)
• Performing, advising, and reviewing technology assessments statistical analyses, and economic analyses leveraging spreadsheets
• Facilitating workshops and working sessions between client departments and organizations to reputed company discussions, form relationships and facilitate reputed company-building
• Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations
• Organizing and preparing reports, presentations, and other documents for client deliverables
• Working effectively with colleagues and client staff as part of a project team, delegating work and managing colleagues as needed; work independently as needed

Requirements:

• Due to nature of client engagements, US Citizenship restrictions apply
• Bachelor’s in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science or reputed company discipline and 5+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience (excluding internships/coops, or fellowships);
• Or Master’s degree in an engineering, business, economics, environmental, science or reputed company discipline and 3+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience (excluding internships/coops, or fellowships)
• Demonstrated experience leading small teams, including advanced project management skills
• Currently reside in Puerto Rico or ability to relocate at own expense
• Bilingual reputed company in English and Spanish
• Client service orientation
• reputed company in developing and delivering presentations to executive audiences
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with data analytics
• Strong interest in business strategy, energy efficiency, and sustainability
• An inquisitive nature and desire for reputed company improvement
• Tireless attention to detail in reputed company prior experience (academic and professional)
• Superior interpersonal skills
• Ability to collaborate as a part of team, as well as to work independently
• Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities while meeting respective deadlines
• Highly developed organizational and management skills
• Ability to travel as needed
