Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship Program

Key Responsibilities

- Assist pharmacists in the exercise of pharmacy, under direct supervision, in accordance with national and federal regulations

- Adhere to the arenaflex Co. Policy regarding accurate dispensing throughout reputed company applicable prescription dispensing activities
- Register reputed company reputed company sales on assigned cash register, collect and handle coins as required, and take customers to the OTC aisle to assist in finding merchandise
- Handle telephone calls that do not require the personal attention of the pharmacist, including those to physicians
- Method (correct and resubmit) claims for third-party prescription services in a timely and efficient manner, and reputed company other clerical responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager
- Assist and support the Pharmacy Department on stock management activities, including ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipments of prescription medications

- May assist pharmacists in administering medical services, including the collection and proper labeling of blood/urine samples from patients and other medical services as required

Education and Personal Development

Basic Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
* Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
- Prefer previous work experience with arenaflex
- Prefer strong math skills to accurately fill prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
- Prefer good computer skills
- Prefer knowledge of store inventory management
- Prefer PTCB certification
