Job Summary The Software Engineering Manager is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing team of software engineers, guiding both technical execution and professional growth. This role partners closely with product, design, and engineering leadership to deliver innovative, scalable, and high-quality software, while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture. Here’s what you’ll need to be successful in this role Required Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (6+ years in the industry).
- 2+ years of experience leading or managing software engineers.
- Proven experience as a software engineer with expertise in web development.
- Strong technical background with proficiency in modern frameworks.
- Experience with software architecture, design patterns, and RESTful API design.
- In-depth experience building and deploying applications using AWS services.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to tackle technical challenges.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and presenting technical concepts.
- Experience with agile methodologies, version control systems (e.g., Git), and code review processes.
Preferred
- Experience with SQL and/or No
SQL databases.
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles.
- Prior experience delivering web applications at scale.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and testing frameworks.
