PI LA/Paralegal
We are looking for a skilled Paralegal with a strong background in personal injury law to join our team on a contract basis in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. This role requires attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive client information. You will play a vital role in supporting legal processes and ensuring timely case management. Responsibilities:
- Conduct client intake interviews and maintain accurate tracking of client details and case progress.
- Analyze and review medical records to gather relevant information for case development.
- Draft legal demands and other required documentation to support case proceedings.
- Order accident reports and compile evidence essential to personal injury cases.
- Manage case files with precision, ensuring organization and accessibility.
- Maintain timeliness in completing assigned tasks and adhering to deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients to ensure responsiveness and reliability.
- Utilize case management software to streamline litigation processes and track case status.
- Collaborate with attorneys during trial preparation and discovery phases.
- Assist in civil litigation procedures, including document drafting and filing.
The pay range for this position is 22 to 27. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in personal injury law or related legal field.
- Proficiency in handling discovery, civil litigation, and trial preparation.
- Strong knowledge of case management software and tools.
- Demonstrated ability to review, analyze, and summarize medical records.
- Experience with drafting legal documents and accident reporting.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client interactions.
- Reliable and responsive, with a commitment to meeting deadlines and delivering quality work.
