Job Summary
As an Area Manager at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for leading a team of hourly workforce and ensuring that customer orders are delivered at the right time, to the right location. You'll work closely with various support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources, to develop plans that meet business objectives. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements
* Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction
- Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises to ensure a seamless customer experience
- Collaborate with support teams to develop plans that meet business objectives and drive growth
- Work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud
- Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs)
Essential Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., business, management, customer service) preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role or leadership position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable temperatures and weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
