Job Summary
As a Customer Service Trainee at arenaflex, you'll embark on a hybrid training program that combines on-site and remote learning. Over the course of eight weeks, you'll reputed company the skills and knowledge necessary to reputed company in a customer-facing role. Our comprehensive training program includes:
- On-site training: Weeks 1, 2, 6, and 7
- Remote training: Weeks 3, 4, 5, and 8
Typical Assignments
As a Customer Service Trainee, you'll reputed company a variety of tasks in a developing and learning reputed company, including:
- Researching inquiries by accessing the claims processing system and other informational sources
- Responding to customer/group and provider questions through telephone contact and/or written communication (such as mail) using proper etiquette, grammar, punctuation, etc.
- Maintaining reputed company departmental records and files
- Operating office equipment, including personal computers, calculators, copiers, fax machines, etc.
- Making corrections to claims and eligibility
- Entering new claims, eligibility, and subscriber information into the mainframe
- Reviewing subscriber's coverage to determine type and level of benefits
Minimum Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- One year of customer service experience in a business environment that requires the use of a computer program to assist the customer, preferably in a call center, and/or dental experience
- Successful completion of the customer service simulation test (minimum score of 62 out of a possible 100) (assessment waived if candidate previously passed test while at arenaflex or if previously held Customer Service Trainee, Customer Service Advisor, or Customer Service Associate position)
- Employees bidding the first shift must have the ability to reputed company work 8:25 a.m. or work until 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday
- Employees bidding the second shift must have the ability to reputed company work at 11:00 a.m. or work until 12:00 Midnight, Monday through Friday
Essential Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a call center or dental environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in reputed company Office and reputed company Suite
- Familiarity with claims processing systems and dental terminology
Preferred Qualifications
The following qualifications are highly preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a reputed company field, such as business, communications, or healthcare
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
- Certification in customer service, such as Certified Customer Service Representative (CCSR) or Certified Customer Service Manager (CCSM)
