Chemist The Opportunity: Use chemical scientific expertise to assist with the development or improvement of products, analyses, or procedures. Mentor and supervise team members. You Have:

• Experience working with federal agencies
• Experience with PFAS
• Ability to assist with qualitative and quantitative analyses of organic, inorganic compounds, or biologics to determine chemical and physical properties
• Ability to provide ad hoc support for quality assurance and quality control queries and assessing environmental laboratory data usability
• Ability to conduct technical review of data quality assessment reports, including findings of stage 2b and stage 4 data validation
• Bachelors degree in Chemistry

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with reviewing the chemistry portion of the Uniform Federal Policy Quality Assurance Project Plans
• Knowledge of inorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, analytical chemistry, catalysis, organic chemistry, forensic chemistry, synthetic chemistry, petrochemistry, environmental chemistry, industrial chemistry, bench chemistry, quality assurance and quality control, scientific writing, scientific presentations, technical reviews, qualitative analysis, quantitative analysis, waste characterization, literature searches, independent research, and team research
• Experience working with the Air Force

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
