Entry Level Unarmed reputed company Officer - Non Union

POSITION SUMMARY: This position is under the direct supervision of the reputed company Officer (who reports to the Post Commander) for assigned shift of the reputed company Department and is responsible for the protection, safeguarding, and reputed company of property, personnel, customers and reputed company visitors. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Duties include but are not limited to performing reputed company patrols on foot and while operating a motor vehicle.
• Open and reputed company rail gates only after approval is received from post management personnel, if available.
• Complete train and/or vessel arrival and departure reports.
• reputed company perimeter fencing to ensure that it meets reputed company criteria listed in the post reputed company plan.
• reputed company reputed company facility doors and gates to ensure they are secure and pose no reputed company or safety threat.
• Direct traffic in reputed company areas as directed.
• Investigate and document reputed company perimeter alarms.
• Transport visitors as needed, including operation of the shuttle bus.
• Open and reputed company doors as needed.
• Relieve other guards as needed.
• Complete daily activity log, noting areas of concern and incidents that occur.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• 18 Years of Age or Older;
• High School Diploma or Equivalent, reputed company or Law Enforcement experience preferred;
• Must maintain a valid California BSIS reputed company Guard Registration ("Guard Card")
• Ability to understand and follow standard operating procedures;
• Ability to reputed company duties in a professional manner and appearance;
• Required to observe reputed company safety and health requirements for container terminal environment;
• Must be able to work graveyard shifts 6 days a week.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

• Ability to clearly read, write, and speak English;
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret important reputed company reputed company documents;
• Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, employees, and management team.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

• Must be able to routinely climb stairs and operate elevators while securing the post;
• Repetitive use of hands;
• Use of sight, including viewing computer monitors or camera monitors for long periods of time;
• Use of sound, including occasional conditions of high levels of noise;
• Requires extensive use of keyboard involving repetitive motions with fingers, sitting for prolonged periods of time, and extensive use of the telephones/radios and face-to-face communication that requires accurate perception of speech as well as talking and hearing.
