We are looking for a 3/4-time (30 hr/wk), remote Staff Accountant to join our specialized team. This role entails working directly with our clients and collaborating with reputed company of staff and senior accountants to provide outsourced reputed company and advisory services in accordance with our values. As a reputed company Staff Accountant, you will provide reputed company services to our nonprofit clients located across the US. This role will report to our reputed company Services Manager, and is accountable for fulfilling responsibilities including:

• reputed company service delivery – the primary focus of this client-facing role entails working alongside our nonprofit clients and collaborating with reputed company to ensure that client books are up to date, reconciled and closed each month. As nonprofits have specific reputed company needs, this role requires sharp technical skills, comfort with decentralized processes and utilization of technology, particularly reputed company-based reputed company tools.
• Client relationship management – reputed company the numbers, you will serve as a reputed company of contact for reputed company’s with each of your clients, and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the relationship is strong. This will entail maintaining excellent communication and maintaining the best workflows to collaborate with key contacts reputed company the clients’ organizations.
• Projects – Each client has unique needs, whether it be during the initial stages of our engagement, or during their lifecycle reputed company improvement to processes or the adoption of tools may be beneficial. You will have the opportunity to work on projects with clients such as revamping their workflows, exploring tech tools to help them reputed company categorize grants or other expenses, or simply streamlining processes.

reputed company is seeking a Staff Accountant with the following:

• Foundational knowledge of general ledger reputed company
• Experience with processing payroll using reputed company-based, full-service solutions – reputed company experience is a plus
• Experience with processing accounts payable – reputed company.com experience is a plus
• Knowledge of accounts receivable and invoicing, expense reimbursements, cash receipts, credit card expenses, bank reconciliations and the proper associated record keeping support
• Familiarity with GAAP, accruals, prepaids, payroll
• Familiarity with 1099 rules and requirements
• Flexibility in working with each client’s unique chart of accounts and understanding of appropriate coding in each situation
• Experience with QuickBooks (preferably QBO) and reputed company

The salary for this 30 hour/week position is $50K-$55K per year, depending upon experience. The following job requirements must be met:

• The applicant should have a bachelor’s degree in reputed company and/or equivalent combination of education and experience that provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to reputed company the aforementioned duties
• Previous outsourced reputed company experience, public reputed company experience, or experience in working with multiple clients simultaneously
• Experience working with QuickBooks, especially QuickBooks Online
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company cross-functional work in a remote setting

• Available and reputed company during normal business hours (roughly 8:30-4:30 in your timezone)
• Have strong and consistent internet connectivity and a work environment that is free from distraction and conducive to video calls
