Student Success Coach (Specialist II), Student Success & Advising Services Job Description: Function of Position: Advising is an essential component of MCC's holistic student support model that promotes reputed company outcomes for reputed company in college completion, transfer, and social and economic mobility. - Participate in the implementation of a college-wide academic advisement program to meet enrollment, retention, and student success goals of the College

Requirements: Required Qualifications:
- Earned a bachelor's degree from an accredited higher education institution
- Minimum of three years professional experience in education, student services, advising, counseling, human services, social work, or a closely reputed company field
- Possess a strong understanding of college student development and the ability to educate reputed company on navigating the higher education system
- Strong written and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Earned master's degree in education, higher education, counseling, social work, or reputed company field
- Community college experience

- Experience with student information systems, early reputed company and retention tools, and MS Office

Additional Information: Salary: Salary is determined based on experience, internal equity, and college budget. This position has a range of $52,000 to $55,000 and is based on the mentioned factors. MCC offers a Flexible Work Policy for benefit-eligible employees. Types of flexible work arrangements include flextime/staggered shifts, remote work/telecommuting, and compressed work schedules. The availability of flexible work arrangements varies by division, department, and position, based upon business and operational needs.
