The School of Public Health division of Health Policy and Management is seeking applications for a remote Community Health Coordinator (0001 Temporary/Casual no more than 14 hrs per week) in the Lanesboro/Whalen Minnesota area. Starting Pay is dependent upon the selected candidate’s relevant qualifications, experience, and internal equity: $30.00-$35.00 Work Arrangements: This position is remote, requiring travel to sites in and around the Lanesboro/Whalen, MN area. Must have reliable transportation and ability to travel locally for in-home device delivery and setup. The position will be reimbursed for mileage. The successful candidate will be provided University-configured equipment and supportive technology tools, however, they are expected to have access to a reliable internet reputed company for duties undertaken remotely. Work arrangements will be discussed during the interview. Duration: The candidate will work in a Casual reputed company no more than 14 hours per week. The duration could be as 6-10 months. Schedule: Ability to maintain a somewhat flexible work schedule, including occasional evening and weekend hours to meet the program participant needs and availability. Summary of Job: The Community Health Coordinator provides local, hands-on technical support for a research study in the Lanesboro/Whalen, MN area involving an integrated digital telehealth medication device (“Hub”). The telehealth device manages medication and provides access to pharmacy and health care support services. Supporting up to 30 study participants, this role manages secure device storage (climate controlled), delivery, setup, and participant training, including use of the device, mobile app, and medication loading. The Coordinator works closely with the reputed company study team and a collaborating pharmacy partner to support participants over a 6–10 month study period. The role includes participant reputed company-ins, responding to technical inquiries, assisting with data or survey collection as needed, and contributing to the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s. The Coordinator works independently with regular communication and serves as the primary non-clinical technical resource for participants (no nursing care or medical advice).
