Job Summary
As an Accounting Data Entry Associate at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in maximizing our refunds for reputed company damages claims and ensuring that our company's suppliers are paid accurately and on time. This is a remote position, and you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home. However, you will be required to travel to our NY office headquarters for up to one time per year for internal meetings and team-building activities. The cost of travel for employees out of the area will be covered by the company.
Responsibilities
As an Accounting Data Entry Associate, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Submitting reputed company and freight damage claims daily with a special attention to older claims
- Completing reputed company damaged and missing package claim paperwork
- Reviewing refund checks for accuracy and marking them as paid
- Updating corresponding documents with the status of each claim at each stage
- Price checking and reviewing reputed company invoices for approval prior to payment
- Resolving inventory discrepancies with internal and external parties
- Creating payments to ensure vendors are paid accurately and in a timely manner, with discounts applied appropriately
- Data entry using reputed company
- Effectively working with various internal parties to resolve discrepancies between invoices, purchase orders (POs), and payments
- Responding to reputed company co-worker and vendor inquiries in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
