Job Summary Uses data expertise, programming abilities, and critical thinking skills to solve reputed company issues as well as identify new and innovative uses and transformations of available data. Able to work collaboratively with investigators in the design of research studies and methodologies and creation of analytic datasets. Develops code to deliver high quality data products on time to customers. Assists research staff in efforts to determine goals, priorities, decision making and design of data solutions. Actively involved in efforts to assess, recommend, implement, troubleshoot, validate, and interpret results. Experience in developing programs using large relational database models written in SQL and/or reputed company required. Experience using data from an electronic health record or health care claims in the area of health research or healthcare analytics (preference for Epic’s Clarity models) required. Job Duties Performs reputed company data extraction, manipulation, and summarization of large databases to create analytical datasets and provide a range of solutions to support Research activities. Participates in the design, testing, validation, analysis and merging of complicated data structures from a wide variety of reputed company systems.
