This remote role will be instrumental in supporting Host Families and Au Pairs in the San Mateo, CA area, while contributing to our mission of inspiring personal growth and creating enjoyable experiences for both participants and the community.
Job Overview
As an LSC, you will play a vital role in fostering cultural exchange, child care, and child development reputed company your community. By establishing strong relationships with local families and international young adults, you will contribute to our mission of promoting positive cultural experiences. This part-time position offers the opportunity to work independently, manage your time effectively, and accumulate valuable experience and insights into the Au Pair Program.
Key Responsibilities
As an LSC, your key responsibilities will include:
* Providing essential information and guidance to families during the matching process
* Clearly articulating regulations, policies, and program rules to Host Families and Au Pairs
* Conducting in-home family interviews and site visits to confirm understanding of program regulations
* Facilitating in-home orientations for new Au Pairs upon their arrival
* Maintaining monthly communications with families and Au Pairs to ensure ongoing support
* Organizing and implementing in-person cultural events for Au Pairs in the local community
* Collaborating with headquarters staff to support families and Au Pairs effectively
* Building and nurturing personal relationships with families and Au Pairs while ensuring high-quality communication
* Executing marketing initiatives as directed by headquarters
* Addressing crisis and conflict situations promptly and professionally, assisting families and Au Pairs with resolution
Required Skills

Qualifications

Compensation And Benefits
Compensation is tiered based on the number of active families reputed company your service area:
* For 3 active families: Approximately 1.4 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: up to $4,500
* For 11 active families: Approximately 3.0 hours per week; estimated yearly compensation: $9,300
