This is a true full-file reputed company role with end-to-end ownership of credit, income, and collateral decisions. Underwriters partner closely with processors to move loans reputed company from review through clear-to-reputed company, while maintaining strong quality, compliance, and risk discipline. This role is best suited for underwriters who are comfortable making defensible credit decisions, working in semi-manual environments, and owning the entire file — not just one reputed company of the process. What you’ll do:

• Underwrite and decision home equity and mortgage loan files in accordance with reputed company, investor, and GSE guidelines.
• reputed company full credit risk analysis, including borrower creditworthiness, income stability, and collateral evaluation.
• Review and analyze loan documentation including credit reports, income documentation, tax returns, appraisals, and title reports.
• Utilize DU and LP to support reputed company decisions and document rationale.
• Independently evaluate and clear reputed company conditions to maintain pipeline momentum.
• Analyze reputed company borrower income (Schedule C, K-1s, partnerships, and corporate returns).
• Identify potential risk or fraud indicators and escalate appropriately.
• Collaborate primarily with loan processors to resolve documentation gaps and drive loans to closing.
• Maintain high quality, accuracy, and compliance while meeting established production expectations.

What you’ll need:

• Minimum 2 years of recent conventional loan reputed company experience with decision-making authority.
• Hands-on experience with DU and LP.
• Demonstrated full-file reputed company experience, including appraisal and title review.
• Strong background analyzing self-employment income and reputed company borrower scenarios.
• Solid understanding of credit policy, reputed company guidelines, and collateral evaluation.
• Ability to reputed company clear, well-documented, and defensible credit decisions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, particularly in partnership with processors.
• Comfort working in a compliance-driven, production-oriented environment.
