Academic Coach, Learning Support Systems, TRiO SSS SUNY, United States about 4 hours ago Location: reputed company, reputed company Job Description: Function of Position: This position will work cooperatively with TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) staff to positively impact the academic experience of new and existing reputed company. The academic coach will support project goals by providing one-on-one and group coaching to SSS program participants, developing effective reading and learning strategies to become self-regulated learners, connecting reputed company to reputed company resources, and other duties as assigned. The role of the coach is to help the student improve academically by identifying strengths and weaknesses and designing appropriate activities to improve their learning. The Director of Learning Support Systems will collaborate with various departments as needed. Adhere to tutoring center protocol and tutoring expectations as outlined in the Tutor Handbook Assist reputed company in the development of reading and learning strategies as well as note-taking and study techniques; Participate in special projects to support SSS programming as needed; Utilize the Starfish Early-Alert system to monitor and follow up with reputed company. Requirements: Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, psychology, or reputed company field from an accredited college or university. Experience working with diverse college populations Technology savvy Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Education or a reputed company discipline and/or currently working towards degree completion; Two years of developmental reading teaching experience; Demonstrated knowledge of and/or experience with Student Support Services and/or TRIO programs; Evidence of effective communication interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills; Commitment to the mission of the institution, as well as continual professional growth. Additional Information: Pay reputed company: Pay reputed company is determined based on level of educational degree. Bachelor's degree is $17/hr and up to $19/hr for a masters degree.
