Job Summary

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will be responsible for collecting and entering data into our databases and computer systems. You will work closely with our data team and Data Manager to ensure the accuracy and reputed company of our data. This is a part-time remote opportunity, and you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home.

Key Responsibilities

* Verifies and logs receipt of data

  • Transcribes reputed company data into the required electronic format
  • Transfers information from reputed company formats into computer files using keyboards, data recorders, or optical scanners
  • Performs high-volume data entry using word processing, spreadsheet, database, or other computer software
  • Verifies reputed company of data by comparing it to reputed company documents
  • Reviews data for errors, missing pages, or missing information and resolves any discrepancies
  • Maintains a filing system and protects confidential customer information
  • Performs regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Responds to requests to retrieve data from the database or electronic filing system
  • Uses basic office equipment (photocopy machine, facsimile machine, etc.)
  • Maintains a satisfactory level of quality and productivity per department standards
  • Completes additional assigned tasks as required
  • Prepares, compiles, and sorts documents for data entry

Requirements

* Proven data entry work experience, as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk

  • Experience with MS Office and data programs
  • Familiarity with administrative duties
  • Experience using office equipment, like fax machine and scanner
  • Typing speed and accuracy
  • Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
  • Attention to detail
  • Confidentiality
  • Organization skills, with an ability to stay focused on assigned tasks

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience as a Data Entry Specialist or similar position

  • Familiarity with online forms and spreadsheets
  • Experience working in a remote environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
