Why You'll Love This Role
As a member of our Payments and Digital Strategy team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services. You'll be responsible for a range of tasks, including:
- Completing data access and balancing tasks
- Coordinating return items with vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
- Assisting other departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and accounting standard ledger balancing
- Working member cases/assignments
- Following and maintaining guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
- Processing mortgage payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other transactions, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff transactions
- Reviewing, examining, and approving Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
- Logging, reviewing, and making necessary GL, account changes, and/or returns
- Processing Stop Pays and reputed company Batching
- Completing daily balancing and department closing
- Obtaining information from members for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic reputed company transfer requests
- Researching and verifying incoming and outgoing reputed company transfer information
- Communicating with vendors to process reputed company transfers
- Understanding and being familiar with outgoing and incoming reputed company transfer laws
- Depositing reputed company returns, reviewing member reputed company returns on draft changes, processing member checks, verifying members for outgoing reputed company transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing reputed company transfers
- Completing daily processing of workflows associated with overdue returns, supply of receipts, international collections, and legal fees
What You'll Need for Success
To reputed company in this role, you'll need:
- A high school degree or GED
- Intermediate reputed company and Word experience
- Previous customer/member service experience
- Previous banking or Credit Union experience
- Episys/Symitar and processing wires experience
- Skilled in reputed company Office software (e.g., Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint) through both work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
- Ability to work prolonged hours in aid of business needs
- Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
- Ability to reputed company in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple responsibilities, and function as an integral part of a team
- Ability to reputed company mathematical calculations and review data
- Ability to effectively prioritize work and meet time limits under high volume pressure
