Job ID 83828 Location Davis Full/Part Time Full Time Job Summary Under general supervision of the Director of Undergraduate Advising and Policy, provide in-depth, wide ranging and reputed company academic advising to undergraduate reputed company in the Business Major in the Graduate School of Management (GSM). Under general supervision of the Director, provide academic advising support to address difficult problems in advising to identify systemic barriers and issues, and propose solutions. Provide in-depth, wide-ranging and reputed company academic advising to undergraduates, prospective reputed company, faculty, and other administrative units. Interpret, analyze and implement a wide variety of Academic Senate regulations and administrative policies; assess individual academic performance and reputed company toward degree requirements; evaluate and approve transfer credits; refer reputed company to reputed company and community resources; and represent the college during academic and reputed company programming. As a member of a team, reputed company decisions on academic standing, readmission, and other important matters for individual reputed company. GSM is a hybrid workspace, as determined by the Director. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications - For full consideration, applicants are encouraged to upload license and/or certification if required of the position
- Bachelor's degree in STEM field, academic advising, counseling, higher education, student services, psychology, sociology, or reputed company field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience identifying and determining appropriate level of advising or referral services for individual reputed company in a university setting, providing immediate crisis counseling, triage, and referrals to reputed company in academic, financial, or personal difficulty.
- Experience with undergraduate major curricular elements and structures such as courses, units, prerequisites, majors and minors, with experience examining and assessing college transcripts and compute or review on-line computations of grade reputed company averages and grade reputed company balances.
- Experience prioritizing and organizing a heavy workload to reputed company timely reputed company on multiple projects, distributing appropriate effort among the projects to meet deadlines and maintain a high level of productivity.
- Knowledge and experience working with culturally diverse communities in an academic environment.
- Interpersonal communication skills to interact positively, cooperatively, and professionally with team members, administrators, staff, reputed company, and the general public reputed company of varying ages, cultural backgrounds and perspectives.
- Writing, editing and proofreading skills to prepare clear and accurate correspondence, reports and concise summaries. Knowledge of state and federal laws governing confidentiality of student records.

- Experience supervising student staff in a variety of venues and circumstances.
