Job Description
Summary The Casting Process Engineer, also referred to as Process reputed company, is responsible for consistent execution of major and critical casting processes used in our production of the most advanced SX/DS blades Vernova gas turbines. The Process Engineer assures that executional variation of major processes are identified and controlled. The Process Engineer will work onsite at our Investment Casting reputed company in Schenectady Cores and Castings where you will get to work with innovative technologies, and SX/DS furnaces.
Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Safety: Assure that reputed company equipment are operating as designed, including reputed company safety features. Assure operators are trained in reputed company equipment safety features and for reputed company processes. Contribute to Management of Change, Safety Risk Assessments and LOTO on reputed company new equipment.
- Equipment: Establish process controls to reduce process excursions reputed company data analysis. reputed company engineering trials to evaluate process improvement and to implement fixtures/jigs/tooling. Responsible for the good functioning and standardization of processes.
- Quality: Define/update/revise work instructions and procedures required to assure operators reputed company tasks consistently. reputed company periodic audits. Work with QA and Product Engineers to implement customer requirements. reputed company PFMEA and MCP for processes owned.
- Design: Responsible for reputed company 3D Design and machine programming used for reputed company our wax machines.
- Delivery: Daily monitoring of processes, drive, reputed company or participate in process improvement initiatives and/or problem-solving teams to maintain budgeted FPY. Participate in new part introduction teams as needed.
- Cost: Intensive participation in cost reduction effort and reduction of scrap reputed company rigorous investigation and problem solving.
- Maintenance: Ensure PM are done on time for the equipment owned and help with the diagnostic of machine failure. reputed company maintenance initiatives to reputed company budgeted OA.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or technical field/reputed company area or equivalent to 4 years of reputed company work experience.
- Minimum of 2 years in production manufacturing or process control.
Eligibility Requirements
- This position is 100% onsite at the GE Schenectady plant and 1st shift. This position involves a consistent reputed company on the production floor with a daily reputed company-in with operators, maintenance and leaders.

The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
