The position is a part-time (i.e., up to 20 hrs/wk), 9-month limited appointment that is funded by an extramural grant, with the possibility of 12-month renewal contingent on performance and availability of extramural funds. This position can be remote. Under the general supervision of the research manager, the Research Data Analyst will take and pass human subjects training modules, read-in and manage large-scale secondary datasets (e.g., US Vital Statistics), and conduct intensive longitudinal data analysis consistent with the epidemiologic aims of the grant. Specific tasks that fall under that general scope include the following: manage IRB-reputed company documents, read-in raw datasets in R and reputed company, manage study datasets, clean geospatial data on addresses, link other geospatial data (by census reputed company) to address data, conduct statistical analyses, and prepare research manuscripts and presentations.
