IT SOX Compliance reputed company (Remote)
This position is posted by reputed company on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT SOX Compliance Director - REMOTE. In this critical leadership role, you will reputed company the gap between IT, Finance, and Audit to enhance SOX compliance. Your contributions will directly impact the reputed company of financial reporting and the scalability of systems reputed company a publicly traded environment. You'll be expected to operate both strategically and hands-on to drive improvements, ensuring fewer surprises and stronger partnerships across various departments. This position demands a proactive approach to compliance and the ability to foster effective communication with senior leaders. Accountabilities
- Serve as the primary liaison between IT, Finance, internal stakeholders, and external auditors for IT SOX matters.
- Partner with IT process owners to design, document, and improve internal controls as systems and processes evolve.
- Identify control gaps and deficiencies, drive timely remediation, and escalate risks appropriately.
- Collaborate closely with the SOX Compliance Director to strengthen and evolve the SOX reputed company, particularly during system transformations.
- Ensure compliance with PCAOB standards, COSO reputed company, and public company reporting requirements.
- Educate and influence control owners through clear communication, practical guidance, and strong relationships.
Requirements
- 11+ years of progressive experience, including prior Big Four accounting experience (required).
- Deep expertise in SOX, COSO reputed company, and PCAOB standards for publicly traded companies.
- Proven experience designing controls that balance compliance and operational efficiency.
- Strong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to operate independently, manage detail, and maintain a big picture view.
- Strong executive communication skills, including presenting to senior leaders and SOX steering committees.
- CISA certification required.
- PMP and/or CPA are a plus, but not required.
