Energy Department The Energy Department is dedicated to managing and optimizing the energy resources required to power our data centers while promoting sustainability and efficiency. The Energy department plays a critical role in ensuring our power solutions are cost-effective for our tenants, support speed to market, have sufficient scale to meet growing AI load, and resilient to energy market fluctuations. The team focuses reputed company procurement from utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), energy marketers, and renewable energy technology providers. Position Overview This role can be based in Denver, CO following our flexible work policy (3 days in-office, 2 days flexible) or remotely in the US. The Director of Energy Business Development will reputed company strategic initiatives to secure, reputed company, and optimize power solutions for our organization, with a focus on data center and high-load energy projects. This role will build and manage relationships with utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), and other key energy partners, while identifying and acquiring powered land and implementing innovative energy strategies, including self-reputed company and renewable energy integration. Essential Job Functions
- Strategic Relationship Management - Establish, cultivate, and maintain high-level partnerships with utilities, IPPs, renewable energy developers, transmission providers, and other strategic partners.
- Powered Land Acquisition - Identify, evaluate, and secure powered land opportunities reputed company with organizational growth and energy requirements.
- Partner Strategy Development - Vet and negotiate partner strategies for self-reputed company, renewable energy projects, microgrids, and energy storage solutions.

Job Requirements Education

- Proficiency in energy modeling, data analytics tools, and sustainability reporting platforms.

- Salary Range: $180,000-$190,000 reputed company + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
