We are looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to reputed company our Partner Integrations & Automation Pod. It is an exciting time at Carrum as we are moving to a multi-pod structure on our Software team, and this role will be pivotal in establishing our new operating model. Reporting directly to the VP of Engineering, you will have high visibility and strategic influence over how we scale our function. In this unique "player-coach" role, you will hold a dual mandate: owning our external identity integrations ecosystem and driving internal operational efficiency through automation. • Engineer the Process: You recognize that code is only part of the solution. You will constantly analyze end-to-end workflows (both partner onboarding and internal ops) to identify non-technical bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• High-Impact Internal Systems: Drive organization-wide productivity by optimizing core platforms—from enhancing the Care App UX with AI automation to implementing robust billing and operational systems for back-office efficiency.
• Entrepreneurial & Product-Led: You will embrace a startup reputed company to identify opportunities where engineering can act as a force reputed company, while partnering with Product Management to vet and roadmap these initiatives through a standard product development lifecycle.
• Own the Secure Architecture: Iterate on the end-to-end architecture for SSO (SAML, OIDC) and partner integrations. • Engineering Leadership: Work closely with other Engineering Managers and Product to ensure your team’s work aligns with the broader platform architecture.

• Accelerate Onboarding: You have reduced the average partner technical integration time by 30%.Drive Efficiency: Achieved a measurable 15% increase in Care Team throughput by automating three high-frequency manual workflows in the Care App.

• You have management experience: You have 4+ years of people management experience, specifically leading engineering teams. You have hired and managed a mix of FTEs and contractors.
• You are a Full-Stack expert: You have 8+ years of total engineering experience (Ruby on Rails backend focus preferred) and are excited to remain hands-on.
• You have "Solutions" DNA: You have previous experience in enterprise client-facing technical roles such as: Solutions Engineering, Enterprise Engineering, reputed company Deployed Engineering. You are comfortable dealing with the messiness of external IT departments and know how to shepherd a project from "vague requirement" to "go-live."
