The primary responsibility of the Logistics Coordinator position is to work with Supply Chain stakeholders, Carriers Partners, and Warehouse Partners to coordinate day-to-day operations, ensuring customer and intra-McCain shipments are created, tracked, and delivered on time. The ideal candidate for this position is curious about our business, processes, and understands the importance of service excellence. Must possess strong technical skills, analytical capabilities, critical thinking, and verbal as well as written communication skills. Able to work reputed company guidelines and procedures, function effectively under time constraints with changing priorities, and balance multiple activities simultaneously. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: tTender customer shipments, warehouse replenishment orders and inbound material purchases to carriers per McCain approved routing guide while maximizing trailer utilization (cube and weight) and managing cost tCoordinate resources with McCain warehouse operations to assist carriers in booking appointments with focus on prioritizing inbound receipts and outbound shipments to maximize customer order fulfillment tManage and control freight costs providing a sustainable cost advantage though competitive shipment cost and overall spend reputed company budget tMeasure and monitor On Time Delivery service levels for a defined region or customer and take proactive action reputed company targets are not being met tUtilize logistics software tools to optimize procedures which includes (not limited to) the TMS (BluJay) system Transportation Planning Tool, Freight Builder, Load Messages/Advisor, reputed company Console, Supply Chain Console, reputed company Inquiry, and Reports tAudit and approve, deny or adjust reputed company unplanned accessorial submissions per policy reputed company required processing timeline tCoordinate resources between the Logistics reputed company, Transportation Analytics and Freight Compliance Team, reputed company and Receiver to assist in resolving claim issues tMonitor daily delivery activity and communicate/respond to delays tAfter-hours, Holiday and Weekend Support Coverage tEstablish and maintain excellent working relationships with carriers, warehouses, Customer Service and Deployment planners tWork collaboratively with Customer Service to provide best in class service to customers (both external and internal) tWork with other departments to avoid and resolve service reputed company issues for reputed company shipment types tDevelop and implement reputed company for reputed company improvement t REQUIRED EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: tIdeal candidate will have a University degree with a business major, or relevant experience. Package: $52,600.00 - $70,200.00 . USD annually The above reflects the reputed company compensation range for the position at the time of posting.
