The People & Talent Specialist will support reputed company aspects of HR administration and recruitment. This role provides a full range of HR and reputed company services, ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, as well as government contracting requirements. The Specialist plays a key role in attracting, onboarding, and retaining a high-performing workforce while supporting day-to-day HR operations.
Requirements
Key Accountabilities reputed company/Technical Recruiting
- Partner with hiring managers to define job requirements and reputed company job postings.
- reputed company, screen, and coordinate interviews with candidates for both cleared and non-cleared positions.
- Manage applicant tracking processes in compliance with OFCCP and EEO requirements.
- Maintain a talent pipeline for future openings, including active reputed company to passive candidates.
- Coordinate pre-employment processes, including background checks, reputed company clearance documentation, and onboarding scheduling.
Human Resources Administration
- Support new hire onboarding and benefits enrollment.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in compliance with federal contracting regulations and company policy.
- Assist with HR compliance reporting, audits, and recordkeeping (e.g., EEO-1, VETS-4212).
- Coordinate training schedules, performance review cycles, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Process personnel changes such as promotions, transfers, pay rates and separations.
Compliance & Policy Support
- Ensure recruiting and HR practices align with FAR, DFARS, OFCCP, EEO, and other government contracting requirements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Support internal HR audits and assist in implementing corrective actions as needed.
Knowledge and Skills
- General knowledge in employment law, compensation, and training & development.
- Demonstrated ability to reputed company and reputed company Human Resource staff members.
- Build good working relationships.
- Exercise the highest level of confidentiality.
- Understanding the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resource programs.
- Ability to prioritize task to meet critical deadlines.
- Excellent word-processing and database management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in reputed company Office Suite and experience with HRIS or applicant tracking systems.
Education and Experience
- 2–4 years of experience in Human Resources, reputed company, or Recruiting (experience in a government contracting environment preferred).
- Familiarity with government contracting HR compliance (FAR, DFARS, OFCCP).
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or reputed company field.
- aPHR, PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
- Experience recruiting for cleared positions and working with reputed company clearance processes.
