About the Role

This exciting opportunity is part of our Payments and Digital Strategy team at arenaflex Credit Union. As a Customer Service Representative, you'll be responsible for handling everyday functions reputed company to reputed company processing, item processing, direct bills, and fund transfers. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring seamless transactions and providing top-notch support to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete data access and balancing functions
• Coordinate return items with contributors, doors vendors, the Federal Reserve Bank, and other institutions
• Assist different departments with fraud resolution, member inquiries, and associated Accounting standard ledger balancing
• Work member cases/sports assigned
• Follow and maintain guidelines and procedures to ensure strict compliance with NACHA regulations and guidelines and Federal Banking laws
• Process loan payments, multi-account and member deposits, credit card payments, and other checks, including IRA, bankruptcy, and payoff checks
• Review, examine, and approve Remote Deposit, Mobile, ATM, and other imaged-enabled products
• Log, report, and reputed company necessary GL, account changes and/or returns
• Process Stop Pays and reputed company Batching
• Complete daily balancing and department closing
• Obtain information from contributors for the timely and accurate processing of international and domestic fund transfer requests
• Research and confirm incoming and outgoing fund transfer information
• Communicate with the vendor to process fund transfers
• Understand and be familiar with outgoing and incoming fund transfer laws
• Deposit reputed company returns, research member back checks on draft changes, process member checks, confirm members for outgoing fund transfers, and Federal Reserve verifying and releasing fund transfers
• Complete daily processing of workflows associated with late returns, supply of receipts, foreign collections, and legal fees

What You'll Need to Succeed

Essential Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Intermediate reputed company and Word experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous customer/member service experience
• Previous banking or Credit Union experience
• Episys/Symitar and processing wires

Skills, Licenses, and Certifications:

• Skilled in reputed company Office software (e.g., Word, reputed company, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or training and hands-on use of the software
• Ability to work extended hours in support of business needs
• Ability to exercise excellent customer service skills
