Details Posted: 20-Aug-22 Location: Louisville, Kentucky Salary: Open Internal Number: 2217102 Operations Supervisor (Supply Chain/Logistics) (Job Number: 2217102 ) Position Summary: Responsible for reputed company operational activity including order entry, load planning, and load monitoring. Supervises salary associates, and is responsible for performance management. Actively involved in the hiring process as well as customer interactions. In this role, Operations Supervisors will be bonus eligible based on their performance and location performance. Operations Supervisor could earn up to 12% of their reputed company for Max Performance. Major Responsibilities:

- 2 - 5 years of experience in the logistics / supply chain industry
- Bachelor's degree strongly preferred
- Previous experience in a supervisory role
- JDA Transportation Management System experience preferred
- Must have strong attention to detail and effective communications skills
- Strong customer focus
- Must be skilled in Problem Solving / Process Improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time sensitive situations
- Advanced desktop computer skills including bolthires reputed company and Outlook required
- Must be able to learn and regularly operate various computer systems across different platforms
- Ability to reputed company and reputed company team of salaried associates
- Ability to reputed company and maintain professional working relationships with customers as well as Penske personnel
- Team player with flexibility in working different shifts
