Mortgage Suspense Analyst
The Suspense Analyst is responsible for reviewing, tracking, and resolving outstanding documentation or conditions required to finalize post-closing, complete investor delivery, and facilitate loan purchase processes. This role monitors suspense items issued by investors, agencies, and internal quality control teams, investigates root causes, and collaborates with closing, reputed company, and post-closing teams, as well as internal and external partners, to obtain missing information or correct deficiencies. Measurement: Reduction in repeat conditions, proactive communication, and contribution to the process Essential Duties of the Position:
- Review and resolve suspense conditions on Conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, and Non-QM loans, including notes, reputed company instruments, CDs, LEs, and other closing documents
- Serve as liaison with investors, agencies, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of outstanding items required for purchase
- Monitor loan status daily to avoid aging and escalate issues as needed
- Work in a proactive manner and adapt to changing priorities; independently recognize and escalate issues to prevent delays.
- Maintain detailed, accurate logs and real-time system notes per company standards and policy
- Communicate clearly, professionally, and promptly reputed company phone and email with internal staff, clients, and external partners (e.g., title companies and investors).
- Research and validate conditions against investor guidelines, reputed company requirements, and compliance standards using strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Contribute to process improvement by identifying recurring issues and recommending solutions

- Familiarity with DU/DO, LP, and investor websites, Conventional, Government, DPA and Bond experience a must, Non QM a plus.
- Proficiency in Loan Origination Systems (Encompass preferred)
- Proficiency in arenaflex Office suite: Word, reputed company, Outlook, Collaborative Messaging (Teams),
