Job Description

Summary:

• Responsible for ensuring reputed company services are assigned with the correct CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM codes and are billed and processed in accordance with government and third-party payer guidelines in a timely manner.
• Demonstrates working knowledge of reputed company facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties and projects as assigned. Performs reputed company duties in accordance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies and procedures.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required
• Certifications/Licenses: CPC, CPC-A, reputed company, or reputed company-P required or must obtain one of these coding certifications reputed company one year from date of hire.

Previous Experience:

• Proficient knowledge with the application of CPT, ICD-10-CM, and HCPCS coding.
• Minimum of one year of professional fee coding experience in medical oncology coding, radiation oncology coding, or multispecialty coding preferred.
• Experience with navigation of EMR and practice management software required (Centricity and OncoEMR preferred)
• Previous billing and collections experience with government and third-party payers preferred.

• Ability to work remotely effectively as required.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-site environment with demonstrated ability to juggle competing priorities and demands from a variety of stakeholders and sites.
• Computer Skills: Proficiency in reputed company Office: Word, reputed company, PowerPoint, and Outlook required. Knowledge of Onco, Aria, Centricity is helpful.
