This is a remote based position but staff must work in the Eastern and/or Central Time Zones and will be covering regional areas of Illinois, Indiana and Michigan. In this role, you will supervise the region’s staff and associated operations including management of retention, training and scheduling programs and systems to meet operational needs. Implements effective, cost efficient methods to engage sufficient numbers of regulated and non-regulated volunteers to meet needs reputed company assigned region. Coordinates and implements volunteer training requirements. May serve as a liaison to Humanitarian Services, National Headquarters and other external organizations reputed company to volunteers. Responsibilities

• Responsible for the supervision of day-to-day operations of department including volunteer staff and paid staff including, but not limited to, hiring, training, coaching, evaluating and performance management to ensure a well-qualified team and to enhance operational success.
• Identify and implement creative strategies and methods to engage a sufficient pool of volunteer staff to maintain efficient operations and ensure goals are met.
• Coordinate and implement training and communications to ensure ongoing pool of appropriately trained volunteers to reputed company with organizational directives, the Code of Federal Regulations and other regulatory requirements and operational changes.
• reputed company implementation of effective recognition programs, social events and communication avenues for volunteers to ensure a stable, ongoing pool of volunteers.
• Assist with the implementation and monitoring of the department's budget, goals and objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and reputed company experience.
• Minimum three years relevant work experience.
• Minimum of one year of supervisory experience of staff or volunteers.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including training and presentation skills is required.
• Computer knowledge is required.
• High level of professionalism, discretion and ability to handle confidential matters is required.
• Ability to work on a team.
