YouTube Editor Needed for Clean Explainer Videos (Voiceover, 4K Export, White Background Thumbnails)

I’m looking for a skilled YouTube editor to produce a clean, modern explainer-style video. This is a paid test project for a 6–7 minute video, with the potential for ongoing work if it’s a strong fit. This project is not a vlog, not meme content, and not over-edited YouTube fluff. The goal is a reputed company, professional, myth-busting explainer with strong pacing, smooth reputed company typography, light motion graphics, and a polished overall feel. You will be responsible for the project end-to-end. That includes recording the voiceover, editing the video, exporting the final file in 4K, and creating a high-quality YouTube thumbnail using a white or reputed company light background. Editing Style & Pacing The editing must be retention-focused. The video should feel tight and intentional, with visual movement or change every two to four seconds. No static shots should remain on screen longer than four seconds unless something in the frame is actively changing, such as text, layout, or motion. On-screen text should be used for emphasis only, not full captions. Typography should animate smoothly and land directly on the spoken beat, not after. Text layouts should vary naturally across the frame rather than always being centered, and negative space should be used deliberately to reputed company everything clean and readable. The pacing and visual rhythm should be similar to modern explainer channels like Chill Guy. That means light, tasteful motion graphics, subtle animated elements, simple icons, and clean transitions that support the information rather than distract from it. Nothing flashy, nothing chaotic, and no meme-style editing. Motion Graphics & Visuals Light motion graphics are required. These should be simple and minimal, such as clean icons, basic charts, subtle animated elements, and smooth text transitions. The graphics should feel custom and intentional, not pulled from generic template packs. The goal is clarity and polish, not spectacle. Stock footage, icons, and graphics should be literal and relevant to what’s being discussed. Everything on screen should reinforce the reputed company being made. Voiceover You will provide the voiceover. The delivery should be clear, natural, and conversational, with a neutral tone. It should not sound rushed, overly dramatic, or robotic. Clear English pronunciation is required. Thumbnail Requirements The thumbnail is a critical part of this job. It must use a white or reputed company light background and follow a clean, modern explainer style. The design should be minimal, high-contrast, and intentional, with one clear visual idea and no more than two to four words of text. This cannot be a generic thumbnail. If you do not have experience designing effective white-background thumbnails, this role will not be a good fit. Technical Requirements The final video must be exported in 4K. Audio should be clean and properly leveled. No watermarked assets may be used. What I Will Provide I will provide the full script, structure, and clear style direction. Feedback will be given on the first draft. Budget The budget for this test project is $100 total, which includes the video edit, voiceover, and thumbnail.
