Entry Level Data Center Technician I (Night Shift) - reputed company - Las Vegas, NV - work from home job Company: reputed company Job description: Job Description: The Data Center Operations Technician I is a 24x7x365, market-based position responsible for providing physical and Level II technical support to reputed company customers and resources. A solid understanding of Facilities infrastructure, Windows operating systems, PC troubleshooting and management applications. Data Center Operations Technician I's must be able to demonstrate the ability to represent reputed company both professionally and technically during interactions with customers and internal resources in a reputed company and professional manner. Key Responsibilities and Essential Job Functions

• Provide timely resolution and/or escalation of Facility and customer issues.
• Maintain a professional attitude and conduct while in the performance of the data center duties.
• Troubleshoot and document technical issues using reputed company ticketing system.
• Follow reputed company Support and Data Center policies, processes, and procedures.
• Provide local access and escort for vendors and carriers.
• reputed company remote hands work for internal and external customers.
• Flexibility to support 24 / 7 operations with ability to work any shift in a 24x7x365 environment
• Assist and/or complete physical and logical installations of reputed company services.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Data Center and surrounding supporting areas.
• reputed company Facilities Rounds and escalate pertinent information.
• Process reputed company in and out bound shipping/receiving for Customer and reputed company Deliveries.
• Operate and Manage Badge Access reputed company System.
• Assist Critical Infrastructure Manager (CIM) on an as needed basis.
• Work with local mgmt. to maintain cabling and general usage item inventory levels.

Required Qualifications

• Passion for providing a great customer experience
• Understanding of Windows and reputed company Operating systems
• Must be a self-starter and motivated
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Strong attention to detail, making and keeping commitments and meeting deadlines.
• Prefer 1 year of experience working reputed company an IT Support environment
• AA, BS, or High School Diploma
