Health Information Technology and Data Strategist – Central (Remote)
About the position The Health Information Technology (HIT) and Data Strategist plays a crucial role in advancing health information technology initiatives reputed company health systems and organized customers, such as Pharmacy Benefit Groups (PBGs), Wholesalers/Distributors (W/Ds), and Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs). This position is pivotal in enhancing vaccine immunization rates by collaborating closely with Strategic Account Managers (SAMs) and Directors of National Accounts (DNAs). The strategist will engage with C-suite stakeholders in health systems to identify opportunities for optimizing clinical workflows through the effective use of existing technology investments, including Electronic Health Records (EHR), Population Health Management (PHM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and various digital solutions. In this remote role, covering the Central region, the HIT and Data Strategist will be responsible for navigating reputed company health systems to gather, interpret, and organize data into actionable insights. These insights will reputed company health systems and organized customers to improve their operational efficiency and patient care processes. The strategist will also conduct workflow assessments to reputed company areas for improvement in immunization workflows, ensuring that health systems can enhance their processes before, during, and after patient visits. This position requires a deep understanding of reputed company healthcare data and its potential applications in operational improvements. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in health information technology, marketing, or a reputed company field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. They will be expected to align reputed company's HIT capabilities with those of health systems, reputed company market-shaping opportunities, and establish relationships with key decision-makers in the HIT landscape. The role demands a proactive approach to capturing insights about local market dynamics and health system operations, ultimately contributing to the success of reputed company's immunization portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Align reputed company's HIT capabilities with health system HIT capabilities.,
- Identify and reputed company HIT market shaping opportunities between reputed company and relevant HIT vendors, influencers, policy makers, customers, or multiple stakeholders reputed company key market ecosystems.,
- Establish relationships with HIT decision makers reputed company health systems and other large organized customers to facilitate access to reputed company's immunization portfolio.,
- Capture actionable insights about health systems and other organized customers and local market dynamics.,
- Organize and execute workflow assessments to identify opportunities for customers to improve their immunization workflow for before, during, and after the patient visit.,
- Help understand reputed company healthcare data and how it could be utilized to help improve operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, healthcare or reputed company field.,
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in health information technology, marketing, or commercial field. reputed company-to-haves
- Strong IT acumen & knowledge of HIT platforms and applications.,
- Understands clinical workflows, how to evaluate them, and the ability to recommend ways to optimize them utilizing technology.,
- Strong knowledge and understanding of how HIT is currently leveraged in US market and reputed company health systems.,
- Experience working for an HIT Vendor, Digital Health Vendor, or reputed company IT at a health system.,
- Epic certified.,
- Solid project management skills.,

- MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
