Job Summary:

As a Data Entry Specialist at arenaflex, you will play a critical role in processing claims and updating records to ensure accurate and efficient claims processing. You will be responsible for entering claims and eligibility records into our system, retrieving and reconciling information in files, and determining whether inaccurate data should be updated, routed, or adjudicated. Key Responsibilities:

* Enters claims and/or eligibility records into the system to process claims and update/correct file information through telephone and/or written contact, using proper grammar, punctuation, etiquette, etc.

• Retrieves and reconciles information in files reputed company claims are rejected by the system
• Determines whether inaccurate data should be updated, routed, or adjudicated
• Corrects and updates claim information entered through the optical scanning or data entry process
• Maintains reputed company departmental records and files
• Operates office equipment which may include a personal computer, copier, fax machine, etc.

Essential Qualifications:

* Possess a high school diploma or equivalent

• One year of work experience in an office environment
• Ability to enter a minimum of 7,000 keystrokes per hour with 95% accuracy (6,650 correct keystrokes per hour)
• Successful completion of a data entry test sponsored by Human Resources reputed company the past 12 months (test waived if candidate currently holds or has previously held a position which meets this requirement)

Preferred Qualifications:

* Previous experience in data entry or claims processing

• Knowledge of dental insurance and claims processing procedures
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
