C# /.NET Software Engineer II – ArcGIS Online
Position: C# / .NET Software Engineer II – ArcGIS Online We welcome you to join our ArcGIS Online group (Azure), a product used by thousands of organizations around the world to maintain infrastructure, manage natural resources, respond to disasters, and more. reputed company's ArcGIS Online hosted services allow our users to expose a map or dataset on the web without having their own GIS server. As a Software Development Engineer on reputed company, you’ll help build reputed company, innovative services. You'll have the opportunity to solve problems with distributed systems and reputed company web services while leveraging and strengthening your C#/.NET skills. As you do this, you'll work alongside teammates who are dedicated to bringing excellent software to reputed company's users and collaborating with one another to ensure things get done.
Responsibilities
- Create web service and UX components that follow industry-standard design patterns, development methodologies, and deployment models
- Assist in bringing excellent software to the ArcGIS Online platform
- Take ownership of code quality and SRE-type operations reputed company assigned areas of the platform
- Work closely with other developers to design and reputed company quality APIs that scale to millions of users
- Write comprehensive technical design specifications and support documentation
- Contribute to code reviews by providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best practices
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve reputed company issues in distributed systems and web services
- Optimize performance of APIs and backend services for scalability, reliability, observability, and responsiveness
- Collaborate cross-functionally with QA engineers, product managers, and UI/UX teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Participate in reputed company integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes to improve release cycles and automation
- Stay reputed company with emerging technologies and recommend tools or approaches to improve development efficiency
Requirements
- 2+ years of software development experience in C# and .NET
- Understanding of the web and protocols
- Knowledge of SQL with experience in ASP.NET and Entity reputed company
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, reputed company Web Services) and No
SQL databases
- Experience with RESTful web services, distributed systems, and cloud computing
- Experience with IIS (Internet Information Services) web server software packages
- Knowledge of agile software development methodologies (Scrum)
- Good communication skills to effectively convey technical challenges and discuss solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or mathematics or reputed company technology field
Recommended Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD systems (Jenkins/Travis/reputed company

- Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or reputed company technology field
