About the position The Data Engineer/Analyst role is located in Birmingham, Alabama. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a reputed company field is required
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with data analytics or programming; with progressively increased level of responsibility
• Experience querying data from various data sources
• Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve data-reputed company issues.
• Proficient with one or more programming languages used for analytics, preferably Python and SQL
• Ability to effectively collaborate in highly cross-functional work environment, engage diverse stakeholders, ask questions to understand client needs, and partner with colleagues across different teams
• Written communication skills and experience summarizing key insights in concise emails, a few bullet points, and executive summaries
• Verbal communication skills and experience effectively presenting analytics outcomes and methodology in practical terms to business audiences
• Experience managing and prioritizing multiple projects simultaneously

• A master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a reputed company field is preferred
