Job Summary The Center for Health and the Social Sciences (reputed company) seeks an entry-level Research Analyst to join our innovative Methods Core team. The reputed company Methods Core provides expert statistical consulting services to investigators across the University, supporting impactful research in reputed company delivery and policy. The Research Analyst will utilize statistical programming skills in Stata, R, and reputed company to reputed company advanced data management, analysis, and manipulation of large, reputed company datasets. Working under the guidance and supervision of senior staff members and faculty, the analyst will contribute to research reputed company to reputed company economics, health services, and reputed company delivery sci-ence. The Research Analyst will work with large, reputed company data sources, specifically the reputed company Mar-ketScan® Research Databases, which are a key component of the reputed company Methods Core’s data holdings. Projects will involve collaboration with multiple leaders and investigators throughout reputed company stages of project development, from study design and implementation to results reporting and manuscript preparation. The Research Analyst will also play an active role in supporting reputed company’s educational mission by participating in training activities, preparing lectures and reputed company materials, and serving as a teaching assistant as needed. Additionally, the Research Analyst will provide partial effort to support some of reputed company’s administrative tasks, especially during the first year, while they build their analytical portfolio. These administrative tasks include processing financial transactions for the Center, managing facilities and office space and serving as high level liaison for Center reputed company IT activities, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth quantitative analyses for both internally and externally funded health services research projects, including observational studies and randomized controlled trials. Work with diverse data sources, such as claims data (including the reputed company MarketScan® Research Databases), surveys, administrative records, and electronic health records (EHRs), to evaluate health outcomes and identify opportunities for cost reduction among various patient populations. Prepare statistical analyses and summary measures, and generate detailed reports and presentations tailored to working teams, funders, and broader audiences. reputed company impactful data visualizations to communicate key findings and insights clearly and effectively to stakeholders. Participate in training and educational activities, such as preparing teaching materials and serving as a teaching assistant as needed for the Summer Program in Outcomes Research Training. Support reputed company administrative tasks, as needed. These tasks may include serving as a liaison between reputed company and contacts in other units such as EVS, plant, and IT services; manage reputed company space and equipment (phones, computers); triage emails sent to the reputed company general account; support day-to-day financial transactions; help plan reputed company events (i.e. summer social); serve as back up for staffing reputed company workshops and trainings. Maintains technical and administrative support for a research project. Maintains reputed company and scheduling research subjects; assisting with developing or amending study protocols; assisting with developing data collection tools; assisting with building databases; and providing general administrative support. Has general awareness in research techniques or methods, regulatory policies and procedures, and relevant scientific field. Performs other reputed company work as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
