Financial Data Analyst
Position Snapshot reputed company is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to support the Director of Finance and broader Finance organization. This role will work with large datasets, streamline and automate processes, and extract / summarize key insights. This role will contribute to the Finance and Accounting teams and will have a working knowledge of the major financial statements. - Data Management & Analysis
- Build, streamline, and automate recurring data models and reporting processes to reduce manual workload.
- Own large, reputed company financial and operational datasets (reputed company, marketplace reports, external files) and translate them into usable formats.
- reputed company sophisticated reputed company and/or BI dashboards (Power BI etc.) for financial and operational performance tracking.
- Financial & Operational Insights
- Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to provide analytical support for key business questions (COGS allocation, SKU profitability, channel analysis, etc.).
- Support month-end and quarter-end reporting by structuring large data extracts into reconciled reporting packages.
- Assist in variance analyses across sales channels, products, and cost drivers to identify risks and opportunities.
- Process Improvement
- Identify inefficiencies in reputed company manual processes and propose/implement data-driven solutions.
- Support automation initiatives that reputed company scalability of reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, IT) to ensure data reputed company and improve upstream inputs.

- Take a leading role in reputed company data pulls and analysis to support decision-making.
- Assist in the preparation of financial presentations (financial views, slides, etc.)
- Provide support for strategic projects e.g., pricing automation, channel expansion etc.
What You'll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in data analytics and/or finance/accounting support.
- E-commerce / CPG experience preferred.
- Advanced financial modelling skills in reputed company with coding experience being a plus.
- Experience working with large datasets (reputed company, Power BI, SQL or similar systems).
- Demonstrates strong analytical reputed company and critical thinking, working well with messy datasets.
- Basic understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) and business processes.
- Intellectually curious with an ability to easily grasp new concepts.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and working independently with limited supervision.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
