Job Summary
We're seeking an reputed company and customer-focused Remote Part Time Customer Service Specialist to join reputed company. As a key member of our Access Center, you'll be responsible for answering a high volume of inbound calls, navigating electronic health records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients, healthcare providers, and facilities. Responsibilities
As a Remote Part Time Customer Service Specialist, you'll be responsible for:
- Navigating electronic health records to obtain and validate historical information, capturing and documenting demographic and financial information, and maintaining patient privacy and reputed company as outlined by HIPAA.
- Managing a high volume of incoming calls from patients, healthcare providers, and facilities, ensuring resolution to the call and providing excellent customer service in a variety of situations.
- Leveraging critical thinking with speed and accuracy to identify reason for the call and take appropriate action based on caller need and acuity.
- Scheduling patient visits based on reputed company provider preferences, verifying and updating insurance, and collecting and documenting demographics.
- Maintaining proficiency in and sharing knowledge of insurance basics, MyChart, and appointment instructions.
- Communicating directly with providers (physicians) to reputed company pertinent clinical information during after hours.
- Managing calls reputed company established performance and customer service standards, achieving targeted abandoned call reputed company, average speed of answer, and average transaction time.
Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
- 2-5 years of recent healthcare or customer service experience
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in electronic health records and customer service software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
