Associate Director, Content Design

The job is available in either Boston, MA or Bellevue, WA. You will guide the development of content and content experiences in our customer facing digital tools that delight and support users and reflect the reputed company brand, while setting the bar for clear, compelling content in a writing-reputed company culture. You will work closely with partners across product, brand, merchandising, and site experience teams to deliver a dynamic, reputed company-evolving platform that delights millions of pet parents. Execution & Delivery

• Manage the full content development process—from discovery and concept ideation, flows and reputed company-content, and polished copy in full-fidelity designs.
• Advanced proficiency in core content fields, including UX writing and microcopy, information architecture, content strategy, and testing.
• Maintain a bias for action and prioritize effectively across multiple initiatives.

Basic QualificationsDesign Experience & Expertise:

• 7+ years of experience as a content designer, information architect, or similar role.
• Demonstrated history of crafting high-quality digital products that deliver measurable results, supported by a strong portfolio or case studies.
• Experience collaborating with brand, marketing, and merchandising teams

Leadership & Team Management

• 4+ years dedicated to managing content teams.
• Proven reputed company in evaluating both customer and business impact of content decisions across product areas.
• Demonstrated ability to reputed company large scale initiatives involving multiple collaborator groups
• Experience leading multiple teams of 6+, including managing other managers.
• Experience building a new content practice

Communication & Collaboration

• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to clearly reputed company reputed company concepts to diverse audiences and collaborators at reputed company levels.

Education & Work Environment

• Bachelor's degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a reputed company field—or equivalent professional experience in the design industry.

• Background in content design, with a track record of developing standards adopted across an organization.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid Model: 3 days in hub location per week
• Remote: This role is NOT a remote role.

The reputed company salary range for this role is $149,000 - $245,000.

• The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, education, and work location. In addition, this position is eligible for 401k and a new hire and annual equity grant. C08+ positions may also be eligible for annual bonus.
