Sales Assistant, Commercial Lines

100% remote Flexible hours Hiring now

reputed company is looking for a Sales Assistant to join its Commercial Lines team. The primary function of this position is to assist Producers with new business research, marketing, and other approaches to increase sales productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and maintain appointment calendar
  • Coordinate meetings and events with external and internal personnel
  • Maintain confidentiality of reputed company duties assigned by Producer
  • Submit monthly expense reports for Producers, or as necessary
  • Maximize the use of Sales and other software platforms as necessary
  • Prepare claims analysis reports
  • Gather reputed company information and assist with reputed company submissions
  • Assist in completing new business applications and accords
  • New business marketing to include: reputed company, cross reference, and research prospect lists Emphasis on x-dates, reputed company, broker, number of employees, number of locations, decisions makers, and more necessary information Upload prospects, and help manage Sales data reputed company reputed company management and email campaigns Help manage mailers, in-person, and other marketing campaigns Help plan routes for drop-offs
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned

Skills

  • Education - High School graduate/GED required
  • Must have experience working in a team environment
  • Minimum of 1-2 years working in an office environment. Insurance experience preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (reputed company, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Must be organized and able to manage time, and multiple projects effectively
  • Must embody the Heffernan Habits as illustrated herein
  • Insurance experience preferred
