Responsibilities
- Managing correspondence and mailings
- Scheduling meetings and coordinating agendas
- Overseeing confidential matters
- Collecting, organizing, and analyzing information including statistical data
- Researching information from various sources
- Composing routine correspondence, charts, and maintaining a filing system
- Recommend purchase of equipment materials, or supplies
- Tracking status of work assignments reputed company the division
- Recording and drafting minutes of meetings
- Scheduling dates/times for conferences and meetings
- Participating in team/work unit meetings
- Answering inquiries from the public
- Performing other administrative support duties as required

Skills
- One year of experience performing a variety of clerical and support services to include typing, secretarial and administrative clerical work
- Ability to use a keyboard, no minimum speed
- Successful completion of a clerical training program with a minimum of 700 classroom training hours or 30 semester hour credits in secretarial science may be substituted for one year of the experience indicated above. Course work must include typing skills, methods and procedures
- Certification of successful completion of the Civil Service Commission, Human Resource Development Institute (HRDI) Support Specialist Program may be substituted for six months of the required experience
